Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon: decidedly ubiquitous on restaurant wine lists in the midwest, but this wasn't always the case. Explore the history of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, from it's origins pre-WWII, to the silver age of the 1960s and 70s, the age of the cult wines of the 90s, and the modern era where winemakers are pushing the valley into the future and trying to reclaim Napa's 'cool factor'. The class will be presented by Advanced Sommelier and Accent owner Gregory Stokes.
