This week we celebrate some of the more unique cheeses around: buffalo and mixed milk cheeses. The class will start with a tasting and talk about a couple of water buffalo cheeses. We'll learn what makes these big ol' bovines great for mozzarella (and other cheese) production. We will then talk and taste a few different mixed milk cheeses. You'll learn why and where you find these amalgams of cow, sheep, and goat milk.
While these cheeses are a little adventurous, they are also delicious. Don't worry if you like to play it a little more safe in the flavor world, you'll still have a great time!
For your comfort, this class is being offered in-person and virtually. You may select your preference after booking your tickets. Each ticket will receive a tasting kit of at least five different cheeses and a variety of accompaniments. Wine, beer, and charcuterie pairings are available for purchase at check out.
