In this tasting and class, we will be doing a deep dive and talking about the Netherlands' most famous dairy export. What makes it a gouda? Where did the style come from? What's up with the spices? How did it get so popular? Gouda has a rich history that we will explore by tasting it and similar cheeses. Don't worry, we won't be having smoked gouda (but we will talk about why). This class is being offered in-person and virtually. If you wish to participate online you may select after purchasing your tickets. Each ticket will receive a tasting kit of all cheeses and a variety of accompaniments. Alcohol and charcuterie pairings are available for purchase at checkout.
To ensure a safe and comfortable setup, all group reservations must be made under a single name or may not be seated together.
All participants will get a reminder email two days prior to the class with pickup information, online class link, and in-person arrival instructions.
