Want to learn to play games of mahjong like in Crazy Rich Asians?
Mahjong is a game commonly played with four players and special tiles originating in China during the Qing dynasty. Now played all over the world and most widespread in Eastern and South Eastern Asia, this skillful game of strategy is sometimes compared to rummy, the Western card matching game.
Become an expert in reading minds and faces using more than 100 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols. Draw or "rob" a piece from another player. Enjoy some buns, drink some cocktails, make new friends (or enemies depending on how competitive you are!) We will be following the Chinese International Rules, but don’t worry, no experience is required to participate.
Proof of vaccination (the actual card or a photo of it will work) required.
