Truffle Season’s Here - And They’re Not Holding Back.
This isn’t just another mushroom moment. This is a full-blown, five-course truffle indulgence - with the option to add matching wines for those who want to take it to the next level (and honestly, why wouldn’t they?).
Contentious Character has been serving up truffle magic for over six years, but this year, the flavour game is on a whole new level.
The feast will showcase fresh, locally sourced truffles from Blue Frog Truffles, where the rich volcanic soil of the region gives each one its deep, earthy intensity. (Fun fact: truffles can take up to seven years to mature after planting - a true slow-burn flavour bomb.)
And just when guests think they’ve hit peak indulgence, the main event arrives: Tajima MB4+ Wagyu scotch fillet (250g), dripping in house-made merlot truffle jus, and - because more is always more - served with a side of truffle mash. Yes, more truffle. Always more truffle.
Truffles are fleeting. Tickets are limited. And this is one feast not to be missed. Guests should come hungry and leave truffully satisfied.
