This evening is all about celebrating our home, The Mission District. Joining us are our friends, Chefs Thomas McNaughton and Ryan Pollnow of Flour + Water, a restaurant known for an impossible-to-get reservation, and for serving creative and thoughtful dishes that showcase all of the regions of Italy. Chef Seth Stowaway of Michelin-starred Osito (“little bear”) brings his commitment to creativity, sustainability, and communal dining that encourages connection and shared experience. Lastly, but certainly far from least, Chef Brandon Rice of Ernest joins this remarkable lineup with his intense, global flavors. We cannot wait to showcase these distinctly refined and relaxed quintessential Mission District dining destinations.
Pairings for the evening will be presented by the inimitable Amy Currens, Sommelier and General Manager of The Morris, recently named one of San Francisco’s 25 Best Restaurants by The New York Times. She is joined by Sommelier Matt Montrose, who has led the wine programs at many phenomenal restaurants — including Atelier Crenn, Michael Minna, and Manresa — and Sommelier and Beverage Director Seth Corr of Greens Restaurant, who brings his talents to our no-alcohol pairings for the evening.
Note: Private dining with the exclusive use of Bloom for your party of up to eight guests is available for this evening.
