Our fifth annual SeptemberFest comes with a twist: we're inviting the most beloved restaurants and eateries in Chicago to join us virtually throughout the entire month of September. Order a kit filled with specialties from our guest chefs to enjoy at home, then connect with them and our own chefs and ask questions on Instagram Live each week. All of our guest chefs will join us for a Grand Finale event on September 26 at 4 p.m.
On Saturday, September 19th, our guest chefs are Thai and Danielle Dang of HaiSous Vietnamese Kitchen and Derrick Tung of Paulie Gee’s. Join us at 4pm on Instagram Live for a behind the scenes tour with the guest chefs from their kitchens.
In today's kit, our guest chefs have included their specialties and we’ve paired them with favorites from Eataly. Each kit serves up to 2 guests and includes:
• HaiSous Vietnamese Kitchen’s Gỏi Cuốn Summer Rolls: Vietnamese Summer Roll Kit. Includes: Pork Belly, Shrimp, Sauces: Nuoc Cham & Peanut sauce (contains gluten/peanuts), rice papers. Gluten free (side peanut sauce has gluten). Thai and Danielle Dang will teach us how to make this HaiSous favorite during the IG Live on September 19th.
• Paulie Gee’s The Sicilian Pizza Kit: Pizza Crust, California Tomatoes, Cheese, Tomato Stripes, Romano, Ricotta Dollops, Chiffonade Basil, Hot Honey. Derrick Tung will demo how to make this specialty pizza during the IG Live on September 19th.
