In December of 2006 Bennett, originally from Austin, went to Argentina on a month-long vacation of bird hunting, fishing and exploring the country. He visited the wine country in Mendoza, drank a lot of fabulous wine and absolutely fell in love with the area. After returning home he could not stop thinking of his trip.
