The intimate Saturday classes start with the lighting of the 12ft hearth and end with a family-style meal surround by new friends and delicious food. In between, insider tips on cooking with an open flame will be offered, ingredients will be prepped and wine will be drunk.
Always on a Saturday from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm (the perfect lunch date!) each class will focus on a different theme. $85pp includes; welcome cocktail, class, recipes and lunch (the meal that was demonstrated with a wine pairing)
El Che Steakhouse & Bar presents Grilling With John; a series in which Chef John Manion shares his knowledge learned from grill masters in Argentina and Brazil with 15 lucky guests. Recognized as a “Master of the Flame” by Chicago Tribune’s Phil Vettel, Manion spent his childhood in South America, where the weekend asado or backyard barbecue was a way of life.
