The romantic ideal that wine and cheese are a natural pair is very nice to think about. However, the truth is that wine and cheese don’t really play all that well together. Sake and cheese though! Sake and cheese are the two lovers from different worlds who become the paragon for perfect and endearing love. They simply work together in ways that no wine, no beer, and no whiskey ever can.
With that in mind; Chefs Sam and Jim have come up with a 6-course dinner to showcase the beautiful love that is putting Sake and Cheese together. Each course will feature a different cheese and will focus on the ‘Forest to Table’ cuisine that Feller is becoming known for. The menu will not, though we love Japanese Cuisine, feature foods that would be traditionally be considered with Sake - this is to highlight how versatile Sake is with all food.
To take the experience up a notch, we’ve invited a true Sake Expert to be here to lead the Dinner. Maxwell Leer will be here to guide the dinner and to talk about all things Sake. We will also taste Japanese Whisky alongside the Sake.
