When talking about the history of American wine there are few names as storied and as important to the narrative as Chateau Montelena. In addition to winning the Judgement of Paris Tasting in 1976 and being one of the first wineries in the second wave of Napa Wine; Chateau Montelena has continued to be relevant by growing and making wines that are better now than they’ve ever been in the past.
We are beyond happy to host the Ambassador for Chateau Montelena here for a Wine Dinner featuring recent release wines alongside some of their historic counterparts – for example we will have the 2011 and the 2016 Chardonnay at the dinner. This will be an intimate and exclusive dinner featuring our Chef’s ‘Forest to Table’ cuisine.
The total courses for the dinner are not set as of publication but we’ll be having at least 6 courses and 6 wines from Chateau Montelena.
The Chateau Montelena Dinner will cost $125.00 (not including tax or, optional, tip) per person.
Additionally, we have a block of rooms available at Lora for attendees of this dinner.
