Join Flowers' artist in residence, Chloe Berlin, for Nature Play – a creative workshop that inspires participants to tap into a childlike curiosity and rediscover the natural world with newfound eyes. This workshop is an opportunity to surrender to the creative and meditative process, working with local plant life as a medium. It will teach you how to let go, reset, and reconnect with the natural world and those around you.
Two-hour workshop begins with an introduction from the artist and flows into an guided creative session where each participant will create an individual floral installation to take home. Flowers wines and seasonal bites from our culinary team will accompany the experience.
All art and floral materials will be provided. Workshop is limited to 15 guests to preserve intimacy and foster connection. Member pricing applies.
About the Artist:
Inspired by nature’s chaotic abundance, Chloe Berlin’s practice embraces organic happenstance and finds poetic delight in impermanence. Her medium — although primarily botanical — is fluid, tethered only to the idea of maintaining a childlike curiosity for the natural world in today’s modern society. This concept of wonder presents itself through an experimental approach to projects, incorporating materials like sculpted wire, drooping string and other utilitarian objects to convey the same message but in different languages. At large, Chloe’s practice explores the ideology of rewilding the human spirit through confronting the barriers that separate our internal world from the one outside.
