El Taconazo is a collaboration between longtime friends and collaborators - Sous Chef Luis Contreras and Executive Chef Roscoe Roberson. El Taconazo explores the different flavors of Luis’s Mexican heritage while providing assistance and agency to our staff that have not received unemployment and a vital local youth-led non-profit, Momentum Alliance. Momentum Alliance is a youth-of-color-led organization. Their mission is to inspire young people to realize their power individually and collectively and to mentor future social justice leaders. All net sales will go to staff and all tips will go to Momentum Alliance. We plan on featuring more taconazo pop-ups featuring a different style of meal kit and a different beneficiary every time...Stay tuned!
