Gather Dinner | Gunther Ott and Lily of James Ranch Homestead School
Come hear from Gunther Ott of the James Ranch and his teaching assistant, Lilli Babcock, tell the story of starting the new James Ranch Homestead school and the vision for the future. The James Ranch Homestead School’s mission is to teach agriculture, cooking, and other primary skills that are neglected in modern education. They provide a healthy environment for kids to grow and express themselves in the outdoors. They work hard, play hard, and see the tangible fruits of their labors while acquiring lifelong skills. The first season of the school was a big success with lots of positive feedback from the children and their parents. Gunther and Lilli are eager to share their adventures!
The menu will be featuring the wild mushrooms Gunther (who is certified for wild harvesting) and Lilli found in the San Juan mountains this summer.
