Join Dan and Becca James for this Holiday themed menu. They moved to Durango in 2000. For Dan it was "moving back to the ranch" and for Becca it was a whole new adventure. They came armed with a lot of enthusiasm, Dan's love for this land, and an idea that a 100% grass-based dairy and cheese making operation was our future. Tons of work, many mistakes, three children, and lots of calves later they have an award-winning James Ranch Artisan Cheese.

Appetizer - Red wine poached pears, James Ranch Artisan blue cheese mousse, lemon-thyme crumble, balsamic reduction, golden beet chips, fried sage
Soup or Salad (guest choice)
Kale salad, brown butter golden beets, pomegranate seeds, sage-orange vinaigrette, pickled apples

Beet soup using Tierra Vida Farms beets
Entrée - Duck confit, tamarind jus, herbed lentil couscous, creme fraiche, plump cherries, orange segments, pea tendrils
Dessert - Cherry Chambord and chocolate Bavarian cream tart
