Bubbles & Sparkles: Cocktail Effervescence - Session 1 (5:30-7:00 PM)

King’s Ransom and our colleagues from Beam-Suntory cordially invite our friends and neighbors to join us for an evening celebrating sparkling cocktails. Explore the world of effervescence in classic and modern libations while learning to balance the bubbles with spirits and modifiers. Discover the wonder of the Suntory Highball Machine, the only one of its kind in Virginia. Discuss tips and tricks to help the holiday sparkle. Each guest will enjoy four custom cocktails paired with small bites as they delve in to bubbles and holiday cheer.

Course #1
Cocktail: Moscow Mule (Haku Japanese Vodka, Ginger, Lime, Highball Bubbles)
Food Pairing: Japanese Spiced Chips (Fried Wonton Chips, Spice Blend, Bonito Fish Flakes, Dried Shrimp)

Course #2
Cocktail: French ‘75 (Sipsmith Gin, Lillet Blanc, House Herbal Tonic, Lemon, Thyme, Sparkling Wine)
Food Pairing: Edamame-Cucumber Salad w/ Spiced Cashews

Course #3
Cocktail: Toki Highball (Toki Blended Japanese Whiskey, Highball Bubbles, Orange Zest)
Food Pairing: Salmon Poke Cone (Sushi Grade Salmon, Togarashi, Yuzu Kosho, Avocado, Sushi Rice, Scallions, Rice Pearls)

Course #4
Cocktail: Bourbon Lancer (Legent Bourbon, Apple Cider Brown Sugar, Lemon, Sparkling Wine))
Food Pairing: Bulgogi Poke (Marinated Beef, House Kimchi, Sushi Rice, Scallions)

Guests can expect all of the above and:
- safe, socially distant tables in accordance with VA law.
- No more than 8 people for each seating.
- Masked servers.
- Single use cutlery / plating.
- Safe, controlled environment.
