From the Villa San Carlo Hotel in Cortemilia, Piedmont’s unofficial capital of truffles and hazelnuts, La Toque is pleased to welcome back for the 11th year, Chef Carlo Zarri.
Chef Carlo, who arrives each year with the most pungent luggage in Italy, will be joining forces with Chef Ken Frank for another memorable white and black truffle accented menu paired with some incredible older Barolos from his family cellar underneath Villa San Carlo. They have been collecting their friend's and neighbor’s best wines for generations and he has picked 4 treasures to serve with dinner.
One flight will feature the 1988 Barolo Cannubi Prunotto and the 1990 Barolo Fontanafredda, followed by another flight showcasing the 1997 Barolo Pio Cesare and the 1964 Barolo Bersano. This is a night you won’t want to miss!
The event begins with a 5:45pm Reception followed by a 6:30pm Dinner Seating. This special 5-Course Menu with Wine Pairings is $750++ per person.
Due to the scarcity of these wines, there are a limited number of seats available, and as was the case last year, this dinner will sell out quickly.
