Locavore Farm is a 35-acre permaculture farm, reshaping land and experience into Illinois' first agrarian resort, offering a rural space to dine, stay-over and actively participate in how food is nurtured and shared. Locavore humanely raises its livestock on pasture and grows vegetables, herbs and flowers following regenerative farming practices. This approach yields food that is rich in nutrients and flavor while establishing a sustainable agricultural ecosystem to provide for generations to come.
