The first feast of the Berkley Plantation of Virginia in 1619 primarily consisted of oysters & ham. In the following century the Virginia culinary tradition had developed to include fresh game, fish, seafood, and various produce. Traditional Southern dishes such as cornbread and gumbo and Virginia ham were created during this time. Come explore the time of the settlers of Virginia and how they lived off of the land. Dinner consists of five courses with an optional wine pairing.
