April is commonly associated with the season of spring.
The Romans gave this month the Latin name Aprilis, the traditional etymology is from the verb Aperire, "to open", in allusion to it being the season when trees and flowers begin to "open"
April also contains World breathing day (11th) Earth day (22nd) and Arbor day (28th) among other noteworthy national and world days.
So this month we are going to focus on opening the maritime peaty and smoky spirit matured within oak staves on slay, breath in aromas of earthy smoke, floral ripe fruits, spices, and bonfires on the beach, Savour flavours of fruity sweet peat and smoke entwined with citrus, stone fruits, dark chocolate, and burnt sugar.
