Join us in the Izakaya at Momotaro for a special dinner to usher in Summer with the first sakes of the new season! CDC Chef Chris Jung, Executive Chef Gene Kato and Beverage Director DeAnn Wong are coming together to curate a 4-course dinner paired with rare tastings of unpasteurized sakes from three breweries across Japan. Also featured will be an exclusive taste of a 12-year old sake from Kanbara Brewery. These seasonal release bottles are fresh and vibrant, the perfect way to celebrate brighter days and warmer weather.
MENU:
Buri Leche de Tigre • Baja uni, soba puff, red pearl onion, serrano
Butter Poached Prawn • Lacto fermented tomatoes, shiso, chive blossoms, fennel tops, lemon thyme
Konbu Cured Lamb Loin • Japanese fondant potatoes, kimchi ramps
Tilefish with Lardo • Prosciutto dashi, poached daikon, charred English peas.
Sake Sorbet • Nigori Spuma, marscapone, yuzu zest, soymilk.
There will be two seatings available: 5:00pm-7:00pm and 7:30pm-9:30.
