Pride and Prohibition: LGBT History in 1920s New Orleans.
Friday, June 13 / 3-5 pm at Napoleon House
Step back into the scandalous queer underground of Prohibition era New Orleans. Celebrate Pride with cocktails and culture at Napoleon House’s Pride and Prohibition History Happy Hour.
Enjoy a refreshing Pimm’s Cup on arrival, followed by a vibrant storytelling experience, by Quinn Bishop [of Queer Underground Tours], focused on the ways in which Prohibition era gay people made homes in the speakeasies and secret balls of the French Quarter.
A curated Bar Bites Menu will be available for purchase throughout the event.
1920s costumes are optional, but highly encouraged!
$25/Ticket - Includes Pimm's Cup upon arrival
