Join us on one of four nights in the lead up to Christmas for a multi-course feast in the festive setting of St.John's Church in Stadhampton.
We are returning to the church for what will be the fourth year of our festive feasts series. We love this time of year, with friends and families re-uniting to eat, drink & revel together. It really encapsulates what we love about a feast and is made more special by the venue.
For this year’s menu, we have ditched the roasties and gravy (we have never done turkey!) as we feel like there is enough of that stuff at work Xmas parties and on the big day itself, and have instead written a menu that celebrates the best of the season's produce, is packed with festive feel and bag loads of flavour. There is a lovely veg menu for all the meatless munchers out there and we can cater for GF diets too, just make a note when booking or get in touch to find out more.
The menu is below..
Homemade venison bresaola, wild rocket, pink grapefruit dressing, pine nuts
Winter escabeche of Bream, orange, clove & fennel
‘Partridge in a pear tree’ : Partridge & Morteau pie, pear purée and a sprout, citrus & pomegranate salad
Pecan & treacle tart, quince ice cream
Tickets for the feast are £45 and include a shot of mulled grog on arrival. As ever we will be running a cash/card bar packed full of artisan wines, festive cocktails (mince pie martinis!), beers and seasonal softs.
We anticipate this being as popular past years and would advise getting in quick to avoid disappointment.
We hope to see you there x
