Details about the Chef:
Chef Carlo Espinas is a 20 year veteran of the SF Bay Area food scene. Born and raised in the Bay Area by Filipino immigrant parents, Espinas loves to tell the story of California through his food. He is inspired by the micro seasons of our land and climate, while trying to weave in elements of the many cultures that call California home.
Espinas values cuisine that is familiar, thoughtful and a little playful. The goal is always a joyous table with food and drink shared amongst old friends and new. Espinas believes in building community through his work by cultivating relationships with those who prioritize thoughtfully raised food and well made goods.
When Espinas is not cooking food at work, he’s probably thinking about his next meal.
