Join leading author and pre-eminent mycologist Geoff Dann as he takes you on a tour of our woodland in search of edible mushrooms then enjoy a mushroom inspired feast cooked over live fire in a stunning woodland glade by one of our resident chefs. Places are strictly limited to 12 per group. There will be 2 sittings. One at 12pm and one at 2pm and will allocate your arrival time closer to the day. Please note we have no control over the availability of mushrooms on the day which can vary significantly.
**We will ask you to sign a waiver for in advance of your booking with us. During an event Nomadic Hotels LTD provide a guided tour in which a variety of foraged food is made available, it is within customers own choice as to whether or not they wish to eat the food provided to them, the client, therefore, takes liability for their own wellbeing. All foods discussed are either previously recorded as edible or have been eaten by the course leader, clients are in no way forced to eat anything.
Consumption of wild foods can potentially cause an allergic reaction in certain individuals; we advise trying only small amounts of new wild foods on first consumption and there’s always the possibility of freak reaction which has no grounding or basis on the persons common bodily reactions to food. Nomadic Hotels LTD and its associated practitioners take no liability on these occasions.
Although our guided foraged tour is taught by highly experienced & capable leaders, it is not intended that any instruction provided to any client(s) while on a tour will in any way qualify that/those client(s) to instruct any third party & no warranty is made to that effect. Nomadic Hotels LTD hereby excludes any liability it might have to any third party in respect of any loss or damage suffered or incurred by that third party in its reliance on any skills taught by any client(s) on the basis of having attended any Nomadic Hotels LTD event.**
