An afternoon spent honoring and savoring the bounty nature offers.
Guests will spend half a day exploring nature through tactile experiences.
Local floral designer, Teressa Johnson, will guide the guests through a flower crown demonstration where each will play with florals and foraged goods to create a stunning crown.
A natural dyeing expert, Hina Mughal, will lead the group through the process of floral bundle dyeing with each attendee creating their own unique silk scarf or head wrap.
Then we’ll head to the table for a lunch cooked over the fire using local, wild ingredients.
The entire event will be held at Oxbow Farm and Conservation Center. Wild food experts will be on hand to stimulate discussion and answer any questions guests may have.
