Rent is due...
We have worked hard for the last two years to bring you a great jazz club experience. This pandemic has made things difficult for all of us. In order to have a fighting chance of surviving this virus, we must open our doors and try to generate some revenue.
That being said, we are taking this very seriously. The venue has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. The staff will be adorned with PPE. Social distancing guidelines will be met (and exceeded). We would not open our doors to any of our friends and supporters without taking all of the precautionary steps we can.
In adhering to the 25% capacity mandate by our Governor, we can only allow for 40 people to be in the club for each performance. All seats are by RESERVATION ONLY. In addition, we will be clearing the entire club after the 90 minute set and will not re-open the doors until we've had the opportunity to thoroughly clean and sanitize the entire space. It is imperative that once the show is over that all of our guests make their way out of the club so that we can prepare for the next show.
The "House" Band will be the only band performing at the club for a few weeks. We are trying to minimize the number of different musicians who are on the stage. We will be bringing in guest performers, but want to be as proactive as possible with all safety and health precautions.
Thank you so much for your continued support!
For all of our friends, fans, and family who still do not feel comfortable being out in public, please visit our website to view our livestream. We'll be bringing the band to you! You won't be able to sip a cocktail made by Jozi, but you can still enjoy the music in the comfort and safety of your home!
