In 2020, during the early days of the pandemic, we started baking to occupy ourselves at home. A friend gifted us a sourdough starter and we were amazed when the first sourdough bread we baked was a success. With downtime came curiosity about making our own starter. From that moment on, we were baking anything and everything with sourdough . . . quickly realizing that the bagels we made were pretty special.

As time went on and our friends were coming by (socially distanced) to sample...

R&A Sourdough is now open at 1938 W. Lawrence. Place an advance pick-up order to guarantee availability. Now offering bagel sandwiches for pre-order!!!
