Chef Luis Herrera traveled to NYC from his native country of Venezuela in 2012, planning to only stay for one summer. Nine years later, he has worked everywhere from Caracas Arepas Bar in Rockaway Beach to acclaimed restaurants like Cosme and Blanca (2 Michelin Stars). He is currently the chef at seafood and mezcal hotspot Ensenada in Williamsburg.
