About Chef Owen: A true New York native, Owen was born and raised in Westchester. He got his start in the restaurant industry making smash burgers at a hole-in-the-wall in his hometown, which piqued his interest in the culinary arts and brought him to explore restaurants of NYC. After gaining confidence working as a bartender and waiter around the city, he dove headfirst into the fine dining kitchens of Morimoto, Marea (1 Michelin star), and Daniel (2 Michelin stars). Owen is now the Sous Chef at Carbone (1 Michelin star) where he has found his culinary “home”.
