About Chef Kristina:
Born and raised in New York, Chef Kristina grew up cooking with her mother and grandmother and quickly fell in love with the technical craft sense of community ingrained in culinary arts. She has worked in some of the most prestigious restaurants in both New York and France, including Eleven Madison Park (3 Michelin stars), Auberge La Feniere (1 Michelin star), Minetta Tavern (1 Michelin star), and Oxalis (1 Michelin star). During the pandemic, Kristina worked with Eleven Madison Park and Rethink to provide thousands of meals to essential workers and communities suffering from food insecurity. She is now pursuing her passion for sharing simple, delicious, and sustainably sourced food as the Chef Educator and Program Coordinator for Chefs for Impact.
About Chefs for Impact: Chefs for Impact is a 501(3)(3) nonprofit on a mission to provide food education that's good for the planet, our health, and taste buds. Through their community of food industry specialists including chefs, farmers, and artisans, they provide educational opportunities both online and on the ground through their youth program Chefs for Kids, and informative food and wine events. They believe that making the food sustainability movement more inclusive is critical to reversing the breakdown of our food system—and that lasting change starts from the ground up.
