About Chef Maddie:
Originally from Northampton, Massachusetts, Chef Maddie Dudek spent six years as a New York public school teacher before following her dreams to become a chef. After graduating from the International Culinary Center in SoHo, she landed a prestigious position in the kitchen at Gramercy Tavern (1 Michelin star). She recently started her own company called A Plate of Mind, which marries her two passions -teaching and cooking - by offering culinary lessons to children of all ages and backgrounds.
