Join Dame Errant Clay at the Hewing to make a one-of-a-kind charcuterie tray. Each creator will start with the blank slate of a rolled and cured slab of clay. The instructor will give guidance on how to cut the shape, carve embellishments and add handles.
The design is completely up to you! Whether your design is abstract or intricate, simple or complex, you have the freedom to create whatever you like.
Guests will choose their glaze option before they leave and pieces will be fired at Dame Errant studio.
Return for Part 2 on Wednesday, November 15th, and Chef Marque Collins of Tullibee, will teach you how to fill your new tray! From locally sourced farms and curated options, Chef will share tips and tricks to help you design a stunning and inviting charcuterie platter. Just in time for the holidays! The fee for Part 2 is $55.
We will be working with stoneware clay and finished pieces will be dishwasher and microwave safe. This workshop is designed to support all levels of creators.
