Our Full Moon Suppers are inspired by traditional names of the moon and seasonal abundance familiar to this territory with cooking techniques and menus that may have been used by early settlers in our region. The Full Moon Suppers are served al fresco at long harvest tables and family style. Celebrate the close ties between traditional agriculture and lunar rhythms.
Kim Wheatley will be present with us for our full moon suppers sharing traditions, craft and song of her people and her culture. Kim is an Ojibwe Anishinaabe Grandmother from Shawanaga First Nation Reserve and carries the spirit name Head or Leader of the Fireflower and is Turtle Clan.
