Stratford Chefs School alumni Ryan Donovan and Carl Heinrich, of Toronto’s Richmond Station Restaurant, are offering a unique opportunity for you to enjoy a wonderfully arranged charcuterie tasting with wine pairings to compliment the experience. It will be a virtual wine tasting like no other!
Ryan and Carl will take over the SCS Kitchens on Thursday, May 6th, 2021 and host a virtual session with all the participants to introduce you to the concepts behind structured wine tasting. They will also dive deep into the process for making charcuterie at Richmond Station. This event includes a selection of charcuterie made in-house at Richmond Station, plus three small 100mL samples of three unique wines.
Why will the wine samples be so small, you ask? So you don't see the label on the bottle, of course! This will be a guided, blind tasting and you will learn the tricks of the trade to find the telltale flavours that distinguish styles and regions of wine.
Wanna impress your dinner guests forever after by correctly declaring the grape and region of the wine in your glass? Well this class promises to do just that, but keep in mind, this is a fundraiser and we're all friends.
