Join us on Monday, April 15th for “A Strictly Delicious Evening,” an allergy-friendly, family-style meal for guests served up at community tables. The unusual menu experience is being spearheaded by identical twins, Jamie Brown (Owner, Supperland) and Kerry Brown (Co-Founder, eat G.A.N.G.S.T.E.R Baking Mixes) — both women who suffer from food sensitivities and autoimmune conditions. The five-course meal will not contain any grains, gluten, nuts, eggs, dairy, soy, seeds or refined sugar (but will contain fish and coconut).
“A Strictly Delicious Evening” will include storytelling, networking, and learning ways of exploring how food can heal, liberate and make us whole—with the help of panelists Heather McDonough, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner; and Nicole Fodel from Synergy Holistic Health, in Charlotte. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Foodiversity, a Charlotte-based non-profit, with the mission of lessening the burden of food insecurity for those with food allergies, celiac disease and food intolerances.
Along with the five course menu, spirit-free hand crafted drinks will be provided. Select wine will be available for purchase by the glass or bottle.
We are so thrilled to host such an event and can’t wait to see you there!
