Located in the heart of the Upper Valdarno Valley in Tuscany, the Il Borro estate covers over 1,100 hectares of vineyards, an organic farm, and the beautiful Relais & Chateau Estate. Ferruccio Ferragamo purchased the Il Borro estate in 1993 and since then, incredible detail and attention have been painstakingly paid. The entire property was fully converted to organic viticulture by 2012, allowing the terroir to fully express in the wines as each subsequent vintage has been harvested. For this dinner, winery principal and owner, Salvatore Ferragamo of Il Borro will be present to walk 11 guests through an intimate dinner of the estate’s greatest wines. We will begin with a fresh, mineral Chardonnay and then move into 5 terroir-driven red wines, including a compelling side-by-side of the “Petruna” and “Polissena” Sangiovese bottlings. These will be followed by two iconic Super Tuscans from the estate paired with regional Tuscan dishes prepared by Executive Chef Cody Cheetham. For lovers of elegant Tuscan Reds, this is an opportunity unlike any other.
