David is a beer journalist and educator living near Dayton. He's an Advanced Cicerone®, and a member of the National Book Critics Circle and the North American Guild of Beer Writers. His writing has been recognized by the NAGBW awards every year since 2019. He is also the host of the Bean to Barstool podcast, which looks at the intersections between craft beer and craft chocolate.
