Selin’s take-over of The Sea, The Sea’s Acton Mews arch marks ten years since her inaugural pop-up, just three doors down at the former Trip Kitchen. There, she introduced London to her interpretation of Turkish cooking, inspired by her heritage, honed by her travels and informed by her surroundings. She went on to launch Oklava (2015), Kyseri (2018), and Oklava Bakery + Wine (2020), as well as winning the dessert course on Great British Menu and publishing two cookbooks. Her June takeover is the start of the next leg of her culinary journey.
