Maggie Scott has had an illustrious career as a jazz pianist, vocalist, and recording artist, with a career spanning over 43 years. She has performed in major Boston hotels and other venues in the New England area, as well as a European tour and concerts in Costa Rica. Her talents have also graced television and radio with notable performances for these media.
Perhaps one of her most prestigious achievements was when she appeared as a piano soloist with the Boston Pops Orchestra. Her contributions to music have not gone unnoticed. She has received multiple awards and honors, including the Berklee Outstanding Alumni Award, the Cabaret Gold Award, and the Woman of the Year Award from the National Organization of Women, among others.
Maggie Scott retired from Berklee College of Music in 2021 with the title of Professor Emeritus, having given more than 43 years of service. As an educator and musician, she has inspired countless students and earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues in the industry. Her legacy as a musician and educator continues to inspire and motivate others to pursue their musical passions.
