Join Portland's own Chef Josh Berry along with Enrique Olmedo from Manzanos Winery as they take you through a five-course Spanish Wine Dinner.
"From Spain to Maine" celebrates sun-drenched flavors of the Mediterranean with twists from our local land. Chef Josh pairs each course perfectly to Manzanos wines from the Rioja region. Enrique will share five wines and spend time discussing each before each cours, including the Gran Reserva.
Enrique has organized many wine tastings, including impressively at the Spanish Embassy in Warsaw. After living in Chile for 2 years, he joined Bodegas Manzanos in the exciting mission of bringing their wines to Americans.
Chef Josh has had a lifelong connection to local food, seasonality, farmers and fishermen. His years working in Europe, throughout the US and finally back to Maine as the opening chef of the renowned UNION restaurant at the Press Hotel. He also hosted Maine’s farm-to-kitchen cooking show Plate the State. He now offers private dinners, recipe creation, food photography and restaurant consulting nationwide.
