Have you ever struggled to truly inhabit your character in a role-playing game? Or felt intimidated interacting with a person pretending to be a wizard at, say, a fantasy-themed tavern?
If YES, AND you should come to this Improv Workshop! If you didn’t get the “yes, and” reference I just did, you should DEFINITELY come to the workshop!!
The workshop includes hands-on guidance from questmaster Juese (perhaps better known at the tavern as “Joaquin”), and a variety of games and exercises that overlap with skills you can use for LARPs, quests, TTRPGs, and the like. Basically: playing pretend for an extended period of time, as primarily one character, in primarily one setting.
It’s an open secret that LARPing is just improv with more expensive costumes and funnier jokes. Learn how to do it RIGHT!
