It's time for a wine field trip!
Our first field trip heads to the charming village of Jordan, Minnesota (just over a half hour southwest of Minneapolis) to MOUSSE WINERY and the award-winning wines of Josie Boyle.
Mousse was founded by Josie as the first (and to this date, only) sparkling focused winery based on Minnesota grown grape varieties, which we are particularly excited about given the high-acid nature of many of our cold climate grapes. Making great sparkling wine takes time, and we'll learn all about what Josie has in store for the future.
Join us for a private wine-education focused evening at the winery with Josie, who will show us her entire facility, give us exclusive tastes of special bottles, and give us insight into the ups and downs of opening a winery and tasting room (especially during a pandemic).
Anyone into sparkling wine will love this! This is the best way to learn all about the three primary methods of sparkling wine production: carbonation, cremate, and traditional.
The evening is limited to 20 attendees, and we will tour the entire production facility in two groups of ten. We will taste a wide range of wines and bottles will be available for purchase. We will also taste through some new non-sparkling wines Josie has produced.
The evening begins at 6:30pm and we will conclude around 8:30. Dining options are available in town.
