Join us on Monday, Oct 21st, for our next Farm to Table, Farm to Bottle Sake pairing dinner at Ubuntu Canteen.
This month we will be serving Sakes from Namino Oto Sake Brewery, paired with a local organic and thoughtful multi-course menu from Chef David Gunawan.
We will also be welcoming special guest Sake Maker Takashi Nakai from Namino Oto Sake Brewery to share with us some of his knowledge and stories about the fine art of Sake making and tasting.
Located in Otsu in Shiga Prefecture, Namino Oto Sake Brewery has been brewing the finest sake since 1805. The brewery is located on the shore of Lake Biwa, the largest freshwater lake in Japan. This location allows Namino Oto to use pure and clean water and the highest quality rice to brew unique sakes that can be paired with a variety of cuisines. All of the sakes are produced in small batches, allowing them to focus on the highest quality sakes. Run by three brothers, Namino Oto Sake Brewery has gained an excellent reputation among industry and sake connoisseurs.
For this dinner, we will feature a range of Namino Oto sakes,
including special sakes direct from the brewery.
