With a long-standing passion for tea, Marie worked directly in the fields of the tea-farming town of Wazuka, Kyoto to learn all about Japanese tea harvesting and production. Now back in Austin, she is eager to share the joy of Japanese tea with you!
Sit down for a 30-minute session and taste eight different types of Japanese Teas, including rare varieties such as tencha and Japanese-style oolong. Each tea will be paired with fruits (fresh & dried) and nuts to enhance the tasting experience.
This workshop will include:
Tasting of eight Japanese teas (Tencha, Fukamushicha, Genmaicha, Wakoucha, Japanese Oolong, Hojicha, Kyobancha).
