Join Chef Matthew Spinner for an intimate sushi experience at Ushabu. Chef Spinner will introduce you to the Japanese art of sushi making. This hands on experience, will leave you with a better understanding of Japanese culture, a respect for the food and the skills to make sushi at home.
Chef will focus on the details of teaching you to create maki rolls, as well as nigiri sushi, and how to pair your sushi creations with saké. You will learn the ins and outs of sushi rice preparation, fish slicing, ingredient selection and procurement, as well as seasonal fish ideas.
This class will be available for 24 guests $40/person, traditional sushi rolling kit & class booklet included.
