Guided by the Hearth: Dinner with Stephanie Izard and Madeline Sperling

These nationally-acclaimed chefs will prepare expertly executed dishes influenced by their illustrious culinary careers, while using a kiss of smoke to tie it all together. The Grand Tasting: The Ultimate NYC Food & Drink Extravaganza

Roam over a city block’s worth of incredible food, drink and entertainment at the Grand Tasting on October 15th. Located at Hudson River Park’s Pier 76 open-air venue, this signature event celebrates the best of what NYC restaurants, chefs, and mixologists have to offer. Sample hundreds of wines, watch cooking demonstrations, and take a trip down Restaurant Row presented by Tock for delicious dishes from some of the city’s best restaurants. Oyster Bash: Ready, Set, Shuck

The annual Oyster Bash is on October 16th at The Standard High Line. This walk-around event showcases fresh caught oysters in every form with farmers and local eateries on deck to help hand shuck and provide accoutrements for the briny gems. The Standard will also be providing wine, cocktails, cold beer, and NYC’s best fries to round it out. Make sure to hit this fun-filled afternoon of oysters on the last day of the festival.
