The Art of Fly Tying: A Hands-On Workshop + Dinner at Nomad
The Art of Fly Tying: A Hands-On Workshop + Dinner at Nomad
Join us for an evening of fly tying, good food, and a little outdoor inspiration at Nomad Kitchen & Mercantile.
We're welcoming back Derek of Cascade Fly Angling for an intimate, hands-on fly tying workshop designed for all experience levels. Whether you've never tied a fly before or you're looking to sharpen your skills, Derek will guide you step by step through the art of creating your own fishing flies.
With a variety of patterns to choose from, including the Woolly Bugger, Twisted Foam Hopper, Parachute Adams, Mickey Finn, Zonker, Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear, and Pheasant Tail Nymph, guests will have the opportunity to work on a pattern suited to their experience level.
All tools and materials will be provided, so there's no need to bring a thing! Experienced tyers are welcome to bring their own vise and tools if preferred.
Following the workshop, we'll gather around the table for a seasonal, chef-prepared dinner at Nomad.
A little creativity, a new skill, and a great meal to finish the evening.
