The heat is here in a big way and we are trying to find ways to cool down, what better than cold noodles?
last tasting menu we offered soba, so this menu we’ve decided to make udon the focus. Diners can expect 8 courses of seasonal refreshing dishes including our house-made silken tofu with shelling peas, land locked salmon ikura, and saikyo miso. A clear soup course featuring morel mushrooms stuffed with pickerel cheek shinjo and summer squash. Panko fried Nova Scotia swordfish with Ontario corn fritters. And the main course will be a cold citrus dashi broth with premium Japanese Udon noodles and a side plate of duck fat seared whitefish. We will be offering our supplemental “chinmi” plate before the main course with a paired sake to go with, this course will feature a grilled mochi with our pickerel karasumi.

The format for this meal will be as follows:
-$150, 8 course seasonal tasting menu with grilled fish, house made tofu, cold udon and dessert.
-20% gratuity / service fee charged per ticket on the day ($30).
-Total ticket cost is $180.
-6 course sake pairings available ($95) pairings with the savoury courses of the menu.
-supplemental “Chinmi” course available with sake pairing.
-Additional dessert pairings available.
-Full drink list available: beer, wine, Sake, mead, non-alcoholic beverages.
