We want to celebrate the feeling of Zoo Siab in our restaurant community, especially between Union Hmong Kitchen and Cafe Alma. This special meal will include snacks to start, choice of a noodle soup served with hot sauces, sour and funky condiments. The meal will include hmong sausage, twice fried chicken wing and grilled sticky rice and more to dip into your noodle soup, and a sweet treat to finish.
In Hmong, "Zoo Siab" (pronounced “zhong shia”) means “Good Spirit.” Growing up in the Vang household, there were always noodles to be eaten. In the hardest and happiest of times, Yia’s mama would always have a cauldron of stock on the stove and the kids could always count on a bowl of tasty noodles and something hot off the grill! No matter what the circumstance, mealtime always gave the family happy hearts and Good Spirit.
This menu is gluten free and limited dairy.
